What is the Jackson High School JA fundraiser?
Every year, Jackson High School offers students the opportunity to participate in Junior Achievement, a hands-on program that brings business education to life. In this class, we create real companies, develop products, and engage in actual selling experiences under the guidance of Junior Achievement.
As a class, we split into multiple teams, each forming its own company. These student-led businesses compete with one another at trade shows, where we showcase our ideas, connect with the community, and put our entrepreneurial skills to the test.
To fund our companies, we organize and run fundraisers throughout the year. These efforts provide the resources we need to bring our business ideas to life while teaching us valuable lessons in leadership, teamwork, and financial responsibility.
Junior Achievement at Jackson High School isn’t just a class—it’s a real-world experience that prepares students for success beyond the classroom.
